ICONIC MYANMAR | 14 DAYS
This is a sketch of what your Custom Journey to Myanmar might look like. Keep in mind these are merely suggestions. We can create a custom Myanmar tour package entirely from scratch, based on your available time, interests, budget, and preferred pace.
Begin in the heart of Myanmar – fly into historic Yangon (formerly Rangoon) where you can explore one of the country’s largest cities on a tour ending at the striking Shwedagon, The Golden Pagoda, just in time for sunset at one of Myanmar’s most significant landmarks.
After breakfast in Yangon, fly off to the ancient jungle capital of Bagan to tour its temple ruins and historic monasteries, or see the sights from a hot air balloon.
Start your 2-night journey down the scenic Irrawaddy River on the luxurious and all-inclusive Pandaw, a replica of a colonial riverboat steamer that takes you into the heart of the country’s jungles and plains to experience some of the most pristine places in Myanmar.
After cruising via the Pandaw, travel to Mandalay for an intriguing tour of the city and exotic Mandalay Palace.
Spend a second day in Mandalay to give you time to explore sights like Mingun, Sagaing, and the ancient capital of Amarapura.
