Relief Reaches Myanmar

In the wake of the devastating earthquake that struck near Mandalay and Sagaing, Myanmar, the ATJ Foundation is proud to share that urgent relief has reached affected communities, and reconstruction efforts are already underway. Thanks to the unwavering generosity and compassion of our travelers, staff, friends, and family, we’ve been able to act swiftly in a time of immense need.

Entire neighborhoods were flattened, cultural landmarks like the Mandalay Palace and Maha Muni Temple were heavily damaged, and the historic Ava Bridge now lies in the Irrawaddy River. Around Inle Lake, villages central to tourism, farming, and fishing were erased. With temperatures soaring above 100°F, families were left exposed, homeless, and heartbroken.

But amidst the devastation, hope is emerging.

With your support:

Emergency supplies have been delivered to families and communities across Mandalay, Sagaing, Ava, and Inle Lake.

Some housing has already been rebuilt, offering protection to those most vulnerable.

Reconstruction of small businesses and community structures has begun, breathing life back into cultural and economic centers.

Boatmen, farmers, and artisans are receiving support to regain their livelihoods. And through the tireless work of local teams and our Myanmar partners, efforts continue to rebuild, restore, and revive the spirit of these incredible communities.

The road ahead is long, but thanks to your compassion, Myanmar is not walking it alone. Your continued support means homes can be rebuilt, lives can be restored, and hope can endure.

From the ATJ Foundation, thank you.
