Mongolia has extreme continental climate with short warm summers and long cold winters. The best time to visit depends on the experiences you seek.

Summer Jun – Aug

Peak season. Warm days (20-30C), cool nights. Naadam festival in July. Best for the steppe and Lake Hovsgol.
