Taiwan enjoys a subtropical to tropical climate, offering diverse experiences depending on the time of year and region. The best time to visit generally spans October through April, when the weather is cooler, drier, and ideal for travel. Widely considered the best time to visit, fall in Taiwan brings clear skies, comfortable temperatures (24–28°C / 75–82°F), and fewer tourists. The countryside turns lush and golden, making it perfect for cultural touring and enjoying Taiwan’s famed night markets.
